NMEA_GNS_Decoder
Decodes the GNS sentence of an NMEA 0183 text stream into physical signals (tested with FURUNO PT-G1).
Processing
- Each received GNS sentence is parsed and its fields are output on separate ports with the timestamp of the text sample.
Data format
- Character fields (N/S, E/W, mode) are output as their ASCII codes (e.g. N = 78, S = 83, E = 69, W = 87).
Notes
- Connect the text output of an NMEA serial/GPS component.
